Thank you for your interest in the first annual Torrington Oktoberfest, taking place Friday, September 24th, 6-9 pm on beautiful Franklin Plaza in downtown Torrington. (Rain-date is September 26th, 5-8pm)
This first-time event will celebrate Oktoberfest in a grand way... under the
gorgeous lights and stunning brickwork of this newly opened plaza, the
Torrington Oktoberfest will be an event you won’t want to miss!
Applying our experience in staging, marketing and hosting large-scale events, we’re confident that we will attract guests from all over northwest Connecticut.
Through our creative approach, we will transform Franklin Plaza into an
authentic “taste of Bavaria” complete with classic Oktoberfest decor and
ambiance including a six-piece Grammy nominated oompah band, dressed
in lederhosen and performing traditional Oktoberfest music all evening.
Tickets are $10 (21 & older / online only) and include a free beer or non-alcoholic beverage. No tickets will be sold at the door. There will be German food, beer & soda, desserts, door prizes, vendors, live music, and much more.
We are producing a 20 page event guide for attendees. This will include sponsor ads, food and beer menus, the history of Oktoberfest, stories on our local beer house “Bad Dog Brewing Company”, information about the local craft beer industry as well what our organization Main Street Torrington, Inc. is all about.
