It wouldn’t be a Strawberry Festival without Connecticut’s BEST Strawberry Shortcake! On the pavilion stairs center park is the return of “Strawberry Central” the place where you will find Strawberry Shortcake, Strawberry Lemonade, Strawberry Pie, and other goodies as well!
Also, take a visit to our Food Truck area where you can expect a collection of mouthwatering cuisine. Entertainment for the kids will be available as well, with the return of the “Strawberry Festival Express Train” taking people both young and old for rides around the park ($3/person). Our official mascot, “Strawberry Shortcake” will be back and walking around to meet and greet, and take photos with. We also will have our handmade “Strawberry Face Cut-Out” for yet another photo opportunity! To the delight of your ears, we will be playing popular music over our public address system throughout the day, making this the one event you won’t want to miss this spring! Come spend the day in the park, Coe Memorial Park in downtown Torrington, Saturday, June 4th, 2022 from 10am to 4pm, rain-date is June 5th. |
Pre-Order Your Pies!Why order your pies in advance?
Reason #1 - We want to make sure everyone who wants a pie, can get a pie. You can never predict how many pies to bring to the festival, so we don't even try to, we ask that you order in advance. Reason #2 - It's for your convenience. We understand that nobody wants to walk around the festival with a pie, while trying to shop at all the great arts and craft vendor booths we have. If you purchase your pies online prior to arriving, you can enjoy the festival and pick them up on your way out! Reason #3 - Nobody likes to hear “sorry, we’re sold out” so now you won't have to race to the pie booth as soon as you arrive - just purchase your pies online in advance of the festival, relax, arrive anytime and we'll have your pies boxed and ready for pick up! PLEASE NOTE* *All pies are made fresh before the festival by the Granny's Pie Factory. (East Hartford CT) *We will not offer pies for purchase at the festival, they must be ordered and paid for online in advance.
