Main Street Torrington is proud to partner with the Torrington Historic Preservation Trust (THPT) and Cafe38 at this year's Strawberry Festival.

Located in the Festival Food Court (by the Carriage House in Coe Park) there will be a special booth selling Hot Dogs and Burgers, all cooked on a BRAND NEW 4 Burner 36" Blackstone Flat-top Grill, with the proceeds benefitting the THPT. (WIN this grill - see below)

What's Needed...

A Torrington Landmark since 1946.

The THPT is currently in the process of applying for a $20,000 Planning Grant from the Connecticut State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) to be used to organize and structure the steps and supplies needed to properly restore the Skee's Diner with historic accuracy. 

​This is a matching grant, which means the THPT will need to raise upwards of $20,000 to meet the match.

Main Street Torrington and the THPT are selling chances to win the beautiful brand new Blackstone Grill - used only once to cook at the Strawberry Festival.  A $600 value, comes complete with a tank & cleaning kit.  (this grill will be well seasoned for you, a necessary step)
